Private, Professional & Personalized.
In a confidential & supportive environment I help improve peoples lives. This is done by providing a wealth of experience, hope & an individualized approach that helps you meet your goals.
My style can be described as: a positive, down to earth, relaxed & commonsensical ‘blue-collar’ type.
I have over 25 years of counselling experience specializing in: addictions, youth (18+), anxiety, stress, depression, men’s health, trauma, separation & divorce, anger management, family conflict, video game, sex addiction/pornography, crisis management, life transitions, psychedelics & EMDR.
Principles that guide my practice are:
Sensitivity to Beginnings. Just as a small shift at the start of a system can create large outcomes later (“the butterfly effect”), even small changes in thought, behaviour, or environment can spark meaningful growth.
Nonlinear Change. Progress is rarely happens in a straight line. I help clients understand setbacks and breakthroughs as part of a larger, evolving pattern.
Patterns in Chaos. Within life’s complexity, recurring themes and values emerge. Recognizing these patterns helps clients navigate challenges and move toward stability and meaning.
Agency and Adaptability. While we cannot control every factor, we can influence our trajectory by choosing where to place energy and focus. The practice emphasizes developing adaptive strategies to harness uncertainty in constructive ways.
